Weight loss/health people, I have a question for you!

Lately I have been noticing that my veins are becoming more visible under my skin. It’s not like they’re bulging out of my skin, but I can just see the blue lines running under it. I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about this or has experienced the same?

My dad (who’s a doctor) says it’s because my body fat percentage is getting lower. Is that really true? It just seems like it’s happening quite quickly. But to be fair I have been doing a lot more cardio than I’m used to for the past (almost) two months, running 2-3 times a week.

I’m not worried that there’s something wrong with me (I feel great) - I’m just really curious if anyone else has experienced this in connection to weight loss? :)

I just had a moment of awesomeness! Running stats from today (21 March 2012)

I just ran 8k! :D So proud of myself! It’s the farthest I’ve gone this time around, and ever now that I think about it actually. I even ran the first 5 without stopping, then walked 1k and then ran the last 2. I feel so accomplished! :) I’m well on my way to making it to the 10 km that I sat as my goal.

8 km / 4.97 miles

51:47 mins

9,27 km/h / 5.76 mph

A new workout song! :D

Is it just me or would this be an awesome workout song?

Running stats from today (2 March 2012) and Nike+

I just bought Nike+ for my iPod, so my workout today was broken up into many little bits because I was trying get it calibrated and figure out how it works. It was kind of annoying since I didn’t really get into my usual running rhythm :/ I did get my 7 km in though, but only timed the last 5, so here are those numbers:

5,00 km / 3.11 miles

35:04 mins

8,56 km/h / 5.32 miles

If anyone is familiar with Nike+ I’d love to hear what you think of it! I’d love to know how to use it optimally. Gotta figure out how to connect it to dailymile too. And apparently I can hook it up to the treadmills at my gym as well! Everything is getting so hi tech!

It seems that dailymile, Nike+ and the treadmill all calculate kcals differently. I got three completely different numbers.
